IE problems

My Internet Explorer have a couple of problems running in XP:

1. The find dialog does not show up.

2. When a pop up is created, it does not load the the page

3. When I do windows update, it doesn't download the selected updates

I don't think this is a Windows Update problem. One of the other MS
newsgroups - particularly an IE group - is more likely to be able to help
