Hi,

I have two suggestions concerning this issue:
1) please restart the box and install again
2) check the InstMsiW.exe process from task monitor and to see whether there is any installation pending in the box. If you can't find one
installation is pending but the InstMsiW.exe process is working, try to kill the process directly.

Please feel free to let me know if you have any further questions.

Best Regards,

Hi,

Please check whether the Windows Installer Service is "Disabled". We can
find the service in the "Services" snap-in under "Administrative Tools".

If it is disabled, let's change its Startup Type to "Manual". If it is not
"Disabled", let's try starting the service. Do we have any error messages?
Is there any corresponding error message in the event log?

In addition, let's try re-registering the service:

1. Open the menu "Start" | "Run" and run "msiexec /unregister"
2. Then run "msiexec /regserver" to re-register it.

Does this help?
